Connect to AI

AOV.ai Bundle Upsell lets you connect an AI assistant, like Claude, Cursor, or Claude Code, directly to your store's bundle data. Once connected, your assistant can look up your offers, revenue, plan, and setup status on its own, without you needing to open the app or share your login. It's read-only: it cannot change your offers or settings.

What it does

• Connects any MCP-compatible AI client to your Bundle Upsell data
• Read-only: shown with a Read-only badge on the card. Your AI assistant can look up information, but cannot change your offers, settings, or anything else in the app
• Works through a single Server URL plus a personal connection token, set up once in your AI client's settings

What your AI assistant can read

Five tools are available to a connected assistant:

• Setup status: whether the Bundle widget is live on your storefront, and why not if it isn't
• Offers: search or list your offers by name, type, status, or discount
• Offer details: full configuration of a single offer
• Analytics: additional revenue, bundle orders, attach rate, and top offers over a date range
• Plan status: your current plan, revenue used this cycle, and your cap if your plan has one

How to connect

There are two ways, and which one you use depends on your AI tool.

If your tool asks only for a URL (Claude web and desktop)

1. In AOV.ai Bundle Upsell, go to Settings → Integrations
2. Open the Connect to AI and the API card and copy the Server URL
3. In your AI tool, add a custom connector and paste the URL — in Claude that's Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector
4. Click Connect, type your store's .myshopify.com domain on the screen that appears, and sign in at Shopify

There's no token to copy in this route. See Claude web & desktop.

If your tool takes a token (Claude Code, Cursor, your own scripts)

1. In AOV.ai Bundle Upsell, go to Settings → Integrations
2. Open the Connect to AI and the API card and copy the Server URL
3. Click Create connection, name it after the tool you're connecting (for example, "Claude Desktop"), then click Create
4. A Connection created screen shows your token once, plus ready-to-copy setup snippets for Claude web, Claude Code, Cursor, Claude Desktop, Any other client, and the Public API. Copy the snippet for your tool and paste it where that tool expects it (for example, .cursor/mcp.json for Cursor)

Already set up before and just need the snippet again? Use See setup instructions at the bottom of the Connections list, or the Documentation link at the top of the card. That generic view uses a placeholder in place of your token, since the real token can't be shown again.

Managing connections

• Each store can have up to 5 connections created this way at a time. Connections made by signing in don't count against the five. The card shows how many you've used, for example "3 of 5 connections used." Once you're at the limit, Create connection is disabled until you revoke one
• The connections table lists Name, Created, and Last used (or "Never used") for each connection
• Click Revoke next to a connection to disconnect it immediately and free up a slot. This takes effect right away, there's no confirmation step, so make sure it's the right one before you click
