The Announcements feature lets you show a time-sensitive message at the top of your cart drawer. With dynamic content and a countdown timer, it creates urgency, keeps users informed, and encourages faster checkout decisions. It is perfect for flash deals, limited-time offers, or stock countdowns.

How to set up the Announcements

You can activate and customize the feature directly from the Body > Announcements section in the Cart Drawer settings. Here, toggle the button at the top right of the settings to enable this feature.

Step 1: Settings

Announcement message Write your message using plain text or formatting options:

• Use **bold** for bold text

• Use *italic* for italic text

• Use {{timer}} to automatically insert the countdown duration

Timer settings Set how many minutes the countdown lasts (e.g. 1 = one minute).

Action when time’s up Choose what happens when the countdown ends:

• Hide the countdown: Timer disappears after it hits zero

• (Other actions may be supported in future updates)

Color

Gradient background

Enable this option to apply a gradient effect across the announcement bar.

• Start color (e.g. #E4FFC3)

• End color (e.g. #9BFBB3)
